£35million Cars Not Enough : Mayweather Wants to Buy £3million Ultra-car

. . No comments:
American pro boxer Floyd Mayweather is just hours away from clinching the deal on a $4.8million supercar.

Nicknamed the 'Money Man', Mayweather is once again splashing his cash, this time on Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita for some time, one of just three of its model in the entire world.

He will add the ultra-car to his £35million ($55million) collection of ‘toys’, which includes Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborghinis, Bugattis and a £30million Gulfstream V private jet.

The latest extravagant purchase is practically pittance for Mayweather, the highest-paid sportsman in the world, earning $300million a year.

Mayweather’s car man Obi Okeke, at L.A.-based Fusion Luxury Motors, told MailOnline that the undefeated champion is just 48 hours away from cinching the deal on the ultra-rare sports car.

The Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita can go from zero to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds and has a staggering maximum speed of 250mph.

Mr Okeke has already imported to car to the L.A. showroom, ready for 38-year-old Mayweather to take home after confirming the transaction.

The sports star has previously boasted about his incredible collection on Instagram.

Mayweather was named the highest-paid athlete by Forbes for the second year running after banking $300million (£190million) in 12 months, most of which came from last month’s super-fight with Manny Pacquiao.

Forbes claimed he picked up a $100million cheque on the night of the fight, without factoring in his cut from pay-per-view money.

But the 11-time world title winner is certainly not shy of showing off just what $300million-a-year earnings can get you.

He frequently shares photos of himself draped in ‘bling’ jewellery on his social media accounts, alongside photos of wads of cash.

He was pictured this month standing in front of a display at the Mob Museum in Las Vegas, taken in the ‘skim room’, where mobsters would pocket some of the cash in a casino counting room.
