Chandigarh: The Punjab Congress has fixed December 13 as date for the party’s Bathinda rally and
installation of Captain Amarinder Singh as the new Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee president. Senior Congress leader and MLA Rana Sodhi confirmed the date on Monday.
Amarinder, a former chief minister, had accepted the challenge of deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal to hold a rally at Bathinda. Captain was announced as state Congress chief on November 27.
