A truckload of manure was left on the Warren County Democratic Party headquarters in Lebanon, Ohio, on Saturday.
Employees and volunteers who have worked at the party headquarters since the last election likely experienced deja vu when the pile was spotted - it's not the first time this has happened.
A mountain of manure was also left at the headquarters in 2012.
'At the time, we did not have a camera system, because it kind of caught us by surprise. We didn’t think something like that would happen,' Bethe Goldenfield, chairwoman of the Warren County Democratic Party, told the Washington Post
The load of manure was noticed over the weekend by a sheriff's deputy, the Post reported.
The pile was about 20 feet long and 3 feet tall.
No one was was caught in the 2012 incident, but then security cameras were installed.
Now officers are reviewing the footage, Goldenfield said.
Goldenfield didn't give The Post many details about the investigation but said there was a dump truck seen in the footage.
'And I’m not going to jump to the conclusion that it was the same person (as in 2012), but of course that crossed my mind.
'We just need to have a little more specifics, and then hopefully we’ll bring the perpetrators to be accountable,' Goldenfield said.
