Mahender Singh, a seven-time MLA from Dharampur MLA and former PWD minister was second to take oath. He was followed by Kishan Kapoor, lawmaker from Dharamshala and former Transport minister and Shimla MLA Suresh Bhardwaj.
Anil Sharma, an MLA from Mandi (Sadar) who defected from Congress before the elections, was also sowrn-in as minister.He is the son of former Congress leader Sukh Ram.
Sarveen Chaudhary — a four-time MLA from Kangra’s Shahpur.The only woman in the Cabinet, She was minister for Social Justice and Empowerment in the BJP government under Prem Kumar Dhumal.
Ram Lal Markanday, MLA from tribal district of Lahaul Spiti, takes oath. He was a minister in the BJP-Himachal Vikas Congress combine regime in 1998.
Vipin Parmar, an MLA from Kangra’s Sulah; Virender Kanwar from Una’s Kutlehar; Vikram Singh from Jaswan Pragpur; Govind Thakur, an MLA from Manali; and Rajiv Sejal, a lawmaker from Kasauli,were also sworn-in.
