Snapchat Launches A 'Deluxe' Version Of Its Bitmoji App

. . No comments:
The app now has hundreds of new physical features, including a range of hairstyles, skin tones and accessories, that can be used to create animated characters.

Unlike the previous Bitmoji app, all features - such as makeup and high heels - can be applied to both male and female characters.

Snapchat says Bitmoji Deluxe is designed to help users build more 'inclusive' and 'accurate' Bitmoji.

The company is rolling out the new styles to all iOS and Android users worldwide today.

Bitmoji are personal emoji that can be sent to other Snapchatters as a sticker in Chat and on Snaps.

The update today builds on that and adds even more features. This includes 40 skin tones, 50 hair colors and 50 hair treatment options.

For instance, new hairstyles and colouring options can now be personalised with highlights and even ombre hair colors.

Users can also choose their very specific pattern of curly or straight hair.

Snapchat said these features can be combined in a nearly infinite number of ways.

In the Bitmoji Deluxe app, users take a selfie that will appear at the bottom of the screen and can be used for reference throughout the Bitmoji creation-process.

A new navigation bar at the bottom of the screen gives access to physical attributes and accessories that can be viewed throughout.

New and existing users will be able to create Bitmoji Deluxe for use on Snapchat, iMessage, Google Gboard and other Bitmoji-compatible apps.

The firm said those who choose to update to Bitmoji Deluxe but then change their mind and wish to return can do so by heading to settings.

From there they can go to 'select your preferred style' to find your previously created Bitmoji.
