Sophie's 'Awkward' Reunion With Screen Husband-To-Be Gleeson

They haven't shared a screen together since King Joffrey's untimely death.

And Sophie Turner enjoyed a rare reunion with her on-screen former husband-to-be Jack Gleeson, as they attended the Game Of Thrones final season premiere.

However there was one person who made it very clear they weren't happy about the meeting - her real life fiancé Joe Jonas - who she is set to marry this summer.

Game of Thrones is heading back to our screens this month, so we’ll be seeing a lot more of Sophie Turner--although not looking as glamorous as this.

It's the red carpet premier and she is, of course, wearing a Louis Vuitton dress, which comes as no surprise, considering she's a brand ambassador. This look is straight from the Fall 2019 runway and boasts a corset bodice. Look closer, and you’ll see the shimmering crystal embellishments.

The dress isn’t available to buy, but swoon over the current collection via the link. However, if you want to steal Sophie’s style then peruse our Lady Stark worthy carousel of inspired looks and find a dress fit to rule the red carpet.

Posing for a hilariously set up snap, Sophie and Jack put on a friendly display as the 23-year-old actress wrapped her arms around her on-screen beau.

But just inches away, Joe displayed his exasperation at the situation, as he pulled a confused expression and held his hands up in the air in dismay, while his wife-to-be cosied up to another man.

However the hilarious snap was all in good humour, as Joe captioned the image on Instagram: 'WTF I thought this dude was dead... #KingJoffrey.''

The stars got together to celebrate the final season premiere on Wednesday night in New York, and partied well into the night after the screening.

Sophie's character Sansa Stark first met Joffrey Baratheon when she accompanied her father Ned to the capital King's Landing, when he was requested to assist Joffrey's 'father' King Robert Baratheon as hand of the king.

Sansa was quickly taken in by the regal glamour of the capital and the perks that came with being a member of the royal circle.

Robert convinced Sansa's father that she and Joffrey would made an excellent romantic pairing, further cementing their families' partnership once they were betrothed.

However once King Robert died and Joffrey, the heir to Westeros, was crowned king his more sinister side was revealed, where he became intent on making Sansa's life a misery with his sick and twisted games.
